2 Day Course
Purpose
Lifeguard Instructor course will train and certify participants to be a national Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor, valid for 2 years.
Course Format
We teach a blended learning course format which includes online education, classroom and in-water components.
- eLearning Time: 15 minutes
- In-Person Time:21 hours 45 minutes
American Red Cross requires all Lifeguard Instructor candidates to complete the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Online Course prior to the first class date.
Prerequisites
Participants must be at least 17 years old at the time of the course.
